Teen sensation Miley Cyrus previously revealed that she's is happy to offend her ex-boyfriend through her 'angry' latest single and video, "7 Things". And video director Brett Ratner, who has directed her "7 Things" music video, has recently revealed that the song is about one of her ex-boyfriends that apparently is Nick Jonas.
Ratner refused to reveal who exactly that ex-beau is. But he gave away a significant detail that seems to confirm that it's about the Jonas Brothers' member. "She had me come out to her house," the director told MTV. "She started showing me all of her personal items from under her bed that her ex-boyfriend gave her. So she pulled out his dirty socks and a bunch of photographs."
Ratner further revealed that the necklace Miley was wearing in the video is her boyfriend's. "The necklace she's wearing in the video is the necklace he gave her. She's wearing his diabetes or medical necklace," he said. Speculation then appeared that the song may be about Nick because the 15-year-old Jonas suffers from diabetes.
Miley recently admitted that she was romantically linked to Nick and secretly dating for two years. "We became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met. He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, 'I think you're beautiful and I really like you.' And I was like, 'Oh, my gosh, I like you so much,'" the 15-year-old girl told Seventeen Magazine. The "Hannah Montana" star even gushed that she and Nick still love each other, saying "Nick and I loved each other. We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn't fun."
