Having been known as a popular pop group may be not enough for the Pussycat Dolls. The girls apparently want to follow in the footsteps of Spice Girls, starring in their own movie.
According to reports, the Dolls are in negotiations to star in a musical movie which is based on their journey to stardom. Reports claimed Melody Thornton and her band mates will sing past hits and future releases in their film. There may be plenty of celebrity cameos too.
"PCD are getting a lot of film scripts to look through at the moment," a source quoted as saying. "It's gonna be semi-biographical, about their rise to fame, with loads of dancing and singing."
Moreover, the Pussycat Dolls' lead singer Nicole Scherzinger has added more fuel to the rumors. "We want to take PCD to the next level. One of the guests on our new album is Timbaland, so you never know who might turn up (in the film)," the 30-year-old singer said.
