Supermodel Kate Moss was spotted having new nautical tattoo, which is a small anchor, inked on her right wrist.
While models are told not to have tattoos on their bodies, supermodel
Kate Moss has been spotted getting a new tattoo on her hand. She chose nautical anchor tattoo to be inked on her right wrist. In addition to her new tattoo, Moss already had a pair of swallows inked on her lower back. Not only that, she also got a quarter-inch heart on her left hand by the thumb and a crown on her left shoulder.
The sexy star's publicist has not confirmed yet about her tattoo. But according to tattoo artist David Potasnick, whose clients mostly are stars including
Gwyneth Paltrow, retro designs like the one Moss has are currently becoming a trend. The artist, who works in Metalmorphosis at the London branch of Selfridges, explained "Her tattoo is very basic, as small as it could be and just a ten-minute job."
Moss recently has become the object of art works. She has been immortalized in a 1.5 million pound sterling statue by artist Marc Quinn, who described her as "the ideal beauty of the moment." The statue was unveiled in the British Museum on August 28. The 50kg solid gold sculpture, entitled Siren, is said to be the largest gold statue that has been created since the Ancient Egyptians.
Having often been praised as a sexy beauty, Moss was not only keen to pose sexy for several magazines, but also eager to help others. She showed her generosity by donating her stilettos and handbag for charity. The stuff will be auctioned in store and on the Selfridges website until September 25 mainly to help raise funds for Breast Cancer Care.
