Lily Allen and Elton John sent shock to audience who were attending the annual GQ Men of the Year Awards, Tuesday, September 2 when they were involved in war of words on stage while doing their duty as the event's hosts. They just won't stop exchanging barbs, mocked one another during the awards shows, held at the Royal Opera House in London.
Drinking champagne through the ceremony, Lily was announcing "now we reach a very special point in the evening," when Elton suddenly interrupted her, making a reference to her alcohol intake by sarcastically asking, "what, are you going to have another drink?" Firing back, Lily told Elton, "F*** off Elton, I'm 40 years younger than you, I have my whole life ahead of me."
Elton quickly snapped back, telling her "I could still snort you under the table." To that Lily hurled more profanity, saying "F*** off. I don't know what you are talking about." And so the war of words kept continuing throughout the awards show, with Lily even drunkenly outed her brother Alfie Owen-Allen's secret engagement to girlfriend Jaime Winston.
That's not all, later that night when Elton made reference to 82-year-old crooner Tony Bennett's age as he was given the Inspiration Award, Lily interrupted "I'll still f*** him." The war of words between Lily and Elton is videotaped on the footage below.
