Disney cutie Selena Gomez is still playing coy about revealing the boy's name she will be singing about on her upcoming album. But the teen actress, who was rumored to be dating Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, has given some big clues.
The "Wizard of Waverly Place" star recently spilled about a new song she just wrote called "I'm Sorry". Selena revealed to Twist magazine that the new track is about loving a boy who can't get over his ex, fueling speculation that it could be about Nick getting over his ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus.
"My favorite song that I've written is called 'I'm Sorry,'" the 16-year-old actress told the magazine. "It's about a boy I kind of fell for, but he couldn't let his ex-girlfriend go, and it was really difficult." Of having to compete with the unnamed boy's ex, she said, "I felt like in a way, I wasn't good enough."
Continuing her talks about the new song, Selena explained that the lyrics of the track tell about encouraging the guy to move forward. "The song is basically me saying that I'm sorry that it didn't work out or that she used to be who she was," she told Twist mag. "But you have to let me in and you have to know that I'll do everything I can to make you happy and be the best I can be."
The teen sensation further said the personal tune will be the first track she records for her album. She also revealed it "probably be the only ballad on the record." "I want the other stuff to be really fun. But that is probably going to be the most heartfelt one because it was the hardest time for me. That story actually happened to me," Selena added.
