A superstar herself, Madonna has banned her young daughter Lourdes from jumping into the Hollywood entertainment business. Not without reason, but the singing sensation considers the 11-year-old girl is still too young to kick off a showbiz career. She would like to see her finishes her school first.
Lourdes, Madonna's daughter with then boyfriend Carlos Leon, has reportedly been approached to star in the upcoming adventure-drama flick "The Secret Life of Bees", which stars the likes of Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Hudson, and Queen Latifah just to name a few. And while Lourdes is so excited about it, Madonna bans her from accepting the offer.
"Madonna didn't work 'til after school and she wants it to be the same for Lourdes. She doesn't want her to enter that harsh world," a source explained. The source went on revealing that Lourdes, on the other hand, "is pretty determined" about getting an acting project. That being so, the source predicts the mother-daughter duo would probably have a battle about it in the future.
Lourdes, just like any other teenage girls, is a huge fan of Jonas Brothers. Having her heart on the band, she even asks to be permitted to miss her mother's show in London next Thursday, September 11 so that she could watch the boys performing at Hammersmith Apollo on the same night.
