Jonas Brothers have personally requested the country cutie to introduce them when they perform at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 7.
Before the awards show starts at 09:00 P.M. on Sunday, Taylor reportedly will co-host MTV News' Opening Act as she will serve as fashion correspondent. And the "Should've Said No" singer is said to be taking the stage to introduce Joe's band.
Speaking at a press conference in Hollywood on Thursday, September 4, Russel called the Jonas Brothers "God's favorite virgins". The host said that their performance "will make the concept of an afterlife seem tame by comparison."
At Sunday's show, the band are expected to perform their second single from the recently released album "A Little Bit Longer". If
Kevin Jonas and his siblings do it, it will be the first time in public they perform the track.
Joe was rumored to be dating the 18-year-old country singer though both of them have yet to give neither confirmation nor denial concerning the matter. The three brothers were recently been spotted dining out with Taylor and Disney star
Selena Gomez at Tao in NYC on August 28.
