Selena Gomez Insists 'I'm Sorry' Not About Nick Jonas

Disney sensation Selena Gomez has stated that her song entitled 'I'm Sorry' is not about her rumored boyfriend Nick Jonas, instead it is 'about someone back home in Texas.'

After being rumored that her song entitled "I'm Sorry" is about her rumored beau Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez is upset that his name has been taken into the gossip which can lead fans into confusion. The Disney hottie insisted that the song is not about Nick. "It's definitely not about Nick Jonas," she said.

Previously, the 16-year-old singer told Twist magazine that her favorite song "I'm Sorry" is about a guy who can't get over his ex-girlfriend, sparking rumors that it is all about Nick who can't forget his ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus. But Gomez was determined that Nick has nothing to do with the song. She told People magazine, "It's about someone back home in Texas."

Gomez said that she was so upset when she first read the rumors and decided that she must set the record straight by herself. She said, "When I read it, I was like, 'Oh no, this gossip has to go away!'" Explaining why it is not about Nick, the actress-singer told the magazine, "I haven't known the Jonas Brothers for that long, but I've gotten really close with all of them."

The teen sensation, who plays as Alex Russo in TV series "Wizards of Waverly Place," added that what she wants in the meantime is sharing the experience on her new album with fans. She revealed, "This year I'm finally in the process of starting an album. It's something that I've been wanting to do for a long time and I also want to take my fans through that journey so I'll definitely do a whole behind the scenes thing."
