Nicole Scherzinger Wants to Be an Actress

Nicole Scherzinger seems to be keen to show off her acting talents. The lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls, who is dating F1 star Lewis Hamilton, revealed she'd love to land a movie role.

"I have done a few things in the past, a couple of movies, but I'd definitely like to do more. I want to be taken seriously a bit more and look for roles that challenge me as an actress," Nicole said. But the 30-year-old singer insisted her music career is still her priority, saying "I don't want to do cameos and stuff like that. I won't ever give up music though, I adore singing."

In the meantime, her band reportedly will also follow in the footsteps of Spice Girls, starring in their own movie. Reports claimed that PCD are in negotiations to star in a musical movie which is based on their journey to stardom.

"PCD are getting a lot of film scripts to look through at the moment. It's gonna be semi-biographical, about their rise to fame, with loads of dancing and singing," a source revealed. Adding more fuel to the rumors, Nicole said, "We want to take PCD to the next level. One of the guests on our new album is Timbaland, so you never know who might turn up (in the film)."
