Beyonce Knowles Shows Off Her Wedding Ring to Public

Beyonce Knowles was seen for the first time wearing her wedding ring publicly during the Fashion Rocks event at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Friday, September 5.

Not yet confirming her marriage to beau Jay-Z, Beyonce Knowles was spotted for the first time publicly wearing her wedding ring. The former singer of Destiny's Child showed off the sparkling ring on the red carpet during her attendance at Fashion Rocks event held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Friday, September 5.

The ring reportedly was bought by Jay-Z for Beyonce after she became his wife in April 2008. The ring she was spotted wearing was designed by Lorraine Schwartz. According to the jeweler, the huge wedding ring featured an 18-carat flawless diamond and valued at more than $5 million dollars (GBP2.7 million).

Later in the evening at the Fashion Rocks, Beyonce was seen taking off the ring for a duet performance with pop singer Justin Timberlake. But afterwards, she was snapped wearing it again when she sang a tribute to blues singer Etta James whom she portrays in upcoming musical drama "Cadillac Records."

Having sparked wedding rumors since April 2008, Beyonce and Jay-Z still have not publicly confirmed yet that they have been pronounced husband and wife after their private nuptials. Nevertheless, Beyonce's younger sister, Solange Knowles, has called Jay-Z "brother-in-law" in a recent TV interview.
