Young actor Zac Efron's dream to be part of West End show possibly comes true. The "Me and Orson Welles" star may be looking to make his West End theater debut with the part of Joseph in the musical "Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", the Sunday Mirror reported.
The 20-year-old hunk reportedly spoke with Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber about replacing Lee Mead, who currently plays Joseph, next year. Zac and Webber have reportedly met last month and are now working out a deal.
"It is a marriage made in musical heaven. Zac loves the role and is keen to clock up some stage time in London," a source close to Webber told the Sunday Mirror. "For Hollywood actors a spell in the West End offers credibility and can be extremely lucrative."
Lee, who won the BBC's Any Dream Will Do, will be leaving in January. He reportedly will go on the road with stage show "Jesus Christ Superstar".
