Miley Cyrus' Family Inspired by the Spears Clan
Teen sensation Miley Cyrus has her own take about the Spears family. The "Hannah Montana" star addressed Britney Spears' family to have inspired her family.

"We're so excited for them and their family just coming out. So empowered," the 15-year-old girl said of the Spears family. "We just feel so inspired by their family."

Miley told Access Hollywood at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 7 that her family and the Spears' are close. "My mom and (Britney) are like great, great friends," the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus revealed.

Miley then said she's also inspired by her own mother Tish as she decided to borrow her mom's shoes for the red carpet of the VMAs. "I'm adjusting to these shoes, they're too small! They're my mom's. Not good!" said the Disney star.
