Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson 90 Percent Sure to Have a Boy

It looks like Pete Wentz is definitely excited and already prepared to be a father. Following his sister-in-law Jessica Simpson's statement that he and his wife Ashlee Simpson are not expecting twins, the Fall Out Boy band's bassist knows for sure that he and Ashlee are expecting a boy. "We know with 90 percent accuracy that it's a boy," he told Playboy magazine for its October issue.

Wentz revealed that he and the female pop singer were fairly certain about the upcoming birth of their child. He said that he and his wife will be having the baby boy in November. "Our due date is around Thanksgiving," he told the magazine.

Being asked about a possible name for his child-to-be, Wentz acknowledged "we don't have any names yet." He added that he recently was advised by his pal about the name, saying "my friend Andrew said, 'Your kid has to have a name that would fit either a rock star or a senator.'"

Talking about his fatherhood preparation, Wentz recently told People magazine that he asked for advice from his father and read "a lot of books." He told the magazine, "the best advice my dad has given me was, go with your gut. And he said you can't really have expectations. If I have expectations that he's going to be a rock star, I'm sure he'll come out being into sports, and if I have expectations that he'll be into sports then he'll be into math or something."
