Ellen DeGeneres just couldn't hide her martial bliss following her marriage to longtime partner Portia de Rossi on August 16, 2008. Sharing her joy, she debuted the video and pictures of her wedding on her talk show, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", on Tuesday, September 9, much to the delight of her audience.
The footage chronicles the preparation that the lesbian couple did prior to their big day. It also shows them happily posing together for the camera and interviewing their family members, asking them about their nuptials. The over 7 minutes video as well shows Ellen and Portia, in their wedding outfits, running from paparazzi who were trying to snap their pictures through the helicopter.
In addition to the video, which can be watched after this news, Ellen also released the so-called "Ellen and Portia's Wedding Song" on her official website, which was penned and sung by her brother, former Daily Show correspondent Vance DeGeneres.
Ellen returned to her daily show for the first time since her marriage on Monday, September 8. During the taping she flashed her wedding ring and couldn't stop gushing about Portia.
