Renting a swanky apartment on West 13th for $12,000 a month, Mary-Kate Olsen and her fraternal twin Ashley Olsen apparently don't realize that there are also neighbors nearby. It appears that the siblings often disturb the others' peace that they have been called "neighbors from hell" by other residents.
Neighbors told the New York Post that Mary-Kate and Ashlee "are disruptive, intrusive, and totally disrespectful." One resident even called the twin stars as "two spoiled brats who change the character of the neighborhood." Agreeing with the resident, another said, "it is a peaceful, quiet street. Plenty of other celebrities around this block [Sarah Jessica Parker, Liv Tyler, Gisele Bundchen and Julianne Moore] are good neighbors and blend in with the neighborhood, but these two are invaders."
The residents revealed that there are two GMC Denali SUVs parked outside the twins' home every night, saying "you would think there was a government operation going on with the amount of security they have." The neighbors seemed to be wanting the Olsens to immediately go out of their neighborhood, adding "the good news is that it's only a rental, and we all hope it's not a long-standing one."
On the other hand, representative for Mary-Kate and Ashley denied that they are "annoying neighbors." The spokesperson claimed, "if there were significant issues, you would think that the neighbors would address Ashley or Mary-Kate directly, rather than calling the media."
