Appearing in hit TV series "Desperate Housewives" apparently is most wanted by many celebrities. But, Heather Mills' hope to appear in the series was ruined after one of its casts Eva Longoria had an objection to her casting, Mills' former publicist Michele Elyzabeth reported.
According to the ex-publicist, the former model and ex-wife of musician Paul McCartney "was desperate to live in America" and tried to succeed in getting roles in several U.S. TV shows. Elyzabeth explained, "Heather wanted to be accepted by Hollywood in any way."
It is said that when the publicist tried to get Heather role in "Desperate Housewives," the producer was interested at first. Elyzabeth added, "I reckon they saw the chance to get some headlines for the show." Nevertheless, when the Heather's casting was discussed by the hit TV show's stars, Longoria "was totally against it." "She demanded Heather be dropped from consideration."
Elyzabeth revealed that "Desperate Housewives" wasn't the only show she tried to get Heather onto.
She admitted, "I even had discussion with the bosses of Ugly Betty, but they gave me a flat no. The major TV shows over there just didn't think Heather fitted in anywhere."
