After just six months together, music producer and DJ Mark Ronson has split from his model girlfriend Daisy Lowe. And their 14-year age gap could be the reason why they split.
Daisy's spokesperson confirmed to the Daily Mirror on Saturday, September 13, "yes, they have split up. But it's a private matter between Daisy and Mark and there is nothing more to add." However, a source claimed that their age difference was a big deal for the relationship. The source said, "She is still a teenager and although she's got a wise head on her shoulders, she's still a very young woman. But Mark is the opposite. He's at a very different stage in his life."
Besides, Mark, 33, and Daisy, 19, were said to have ended their relationship because she isn't ready to marry him. "He's 33 now and although he enjoys the party lifestyle he's looking to settle down and Daisy isn't ready for that," a source told the Daily Mirror.
Mark and Daisy started dating in April 2008. They have been rumored to be planning to get married around Christmas time this year. But, the split showed that wedding isn't going to happen.
Following the split, the Daily Mail reported that Daisy found solace in the arm of her ex-beau Will Cameron. She was spotted heading to Will's place at Baker street on Sunday night, September 14 after attending a London Fashion Week show. A source told the publication, "She went to see Will for a shoulder to cry on. She�s been really upset over the last few days after her split from Mark." The source then added, "Daisy never lost touch with Will, and has always remained close friends with him. They have always been close, and Will was pining after her when she dumped him for Mark."
