Hollywood beauty Scarlett Johansson wants people to recycle old cell phones. The 23-year-old actress is featured in a new Public Service Announcement (PSA), encouraging others to recycle their used cell phones.
Playing off posters for Scarlett's upcoming movie "The Spirit", Lionsgate studio and the Environmental Media Association have teamed up to create the PSAs. The ads feature one of the flick's taglines, "Answer the call!"
The magazine ads reportedly will be first appearing in People mag on Friday. It will also include her co-star Eva Mendes. The PSAs' goal is reducing the amount of carbon dioxide emissions created by the production of new phones.
In other Scarlett news, the "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" star just completed a four-day visit to Rwanda. She visited AIDS clinics to help raise money for women and children affected by AIDS in Africa.
