Thousands of women in Britain are reportedly flocking to hair stylists for having Victoria Adams' pixie look.

British fashionista Victoria Adams has been known for becoming a trend setter. And now her latest hairdo has sparked a new hair craze in Britain. Thousands of women are reportedly flocking to stylists for having her pixie look.

The wife of football player David Beckham debuted her new haircut at the Marc Jacobs show during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2009 on September 8. Her new hairstyle is said to have already inspired women in Britain to have the same hairdo for the Autumn.

Top stylist Andrew Collinge revealed his Selfridges salons in Manchester and London have been inundated with requests for the "Victoria Beckham Pixie Crop". "Many clients are bringing in actual newspaper clippings of Victoria just to make sure they get the right look," the hair stylist's spokesman explained.

About the trend Victoria has made, Collinge said, "Victoria Beckham has done it again. The Victoria Beckham cut is quite a change from the Posh bob, but it suits her perfectly. Most women can wear this style as it suits most face shapes." "The secret is to keep the haircut very short and choppy, whilst keeping the edges textured and soft. A rich deep colour will give the style a fantastic shine and gloss as well as giving depth to those with finer hair," he said of Victoria's hairstyle.
