Unwilling to let pregnancy ruin her look, Ashlee Simpson is still maintaining the fiery color of her hair. She, however, doesn't want the hair color to endanger her pregnancy and so using herbal hair color for pregnant women.
"She didn't want to stop dyeing her hair, so she uses herbal hair color that's safe for pregnant women," an insider told In Touch Weekly magazine. The insider revealed that Ashlee has been maintaining her current hair color because she got good reviews when she started coloring her hair red back in January 2008. The insider added, "she loves her hair red, and so does [her husband] Pete [Wentz]!"
Before deciding to use the safe herbal hair color, Ashlee reportedly has been complaining to friends that her hair turned into bad condition ever since she found out her pregnancy. "Ashlee is freaking out," a source said. "She likes to have a new color every month or so. Ashlee changes her hair color like the rest of us change underwear. Her hair is now dyed a copper red, but she's not sure how it's going to look once it starts growing out and she gets roots."
Meanwhile, Ashlee's hubby Pete Wentz of the Fall Out Boy confirmed that he loves to see his wife's beautiful red hair because it reminds him of a character in 1988 animated film "Who Framed Roger Rabit," Jessica Rabbit, who has famous red hair style. He added, "I had a Jessica Rabbit crush when I was little."
The 24-year-old pregnant pop star is due to deliver her first child with Pete in late November this year. The celebrity couple are 90 percent sure that they are expecting a boy.
