Emma Watson has been regarded as one of young talented stars. But the British actress is reportedly putting her acting career on hold because she wants to concentrate on her education.
The 18-year-old girl said she is keen on completing her degree after she has finished filming the final installment of the "Harry Potter" franchise. Emma, along with co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, will finish work on production by next autumn.
"I would like to go to university and complete a degree and so that will mean a break from acting," she explained. "I've always tried to balance my education with my acting career, but I just don't think it will be possible to juggle it with a degree course. I have a need now to study."
Earlier, the young actress revealed she's considering whether to go to University in England or in the United States. "There are excellent universities over there and I am applying at the moment," she told the Daily Telegraph. "If I stay in (England) I will read English Literature, and if I go to America I will do a Liberal Arts program."
And Emma, who has earned a reported $30 million from the "Harry Potter" movies, really wants to focus on her study. "Any future projects will take second place to University. Her first commitment will be to her course," a spokesperson for the actress added.
