It seems that Britney Spears is keen on starting her new better life. The troubled singer has reportedly been quietly shopping her Summit home since June. And now she put it on the market for $7.9 million with Sotheby's International Realty, according to E! News.
Britney purchased the 7,000 square feet mansion for $7 million back in December 2007. The "Toxic" singer has lived in the Mediterranean-style home for less than two years. However, earlier this year, she had to leave the house twice to be forcibly hospitalized.
The 26-year-old singer's father Jamie Spears has reportedly sought permission from a cort in June to sell the Summit property. Spears' camp stated that Britney was seeking a "lower density, more quiet and less trafficked neighborhood, that is also more accessible to parks and recreation areas" to better suit her children Preston and Jayden.
Now Britney has been reportedly looking for a new home. The ex-wife of Kevin Federline is said to be eyeing a home in Calabasas, California, an upper-class enclave in the San Fernando Valley.
