Following her failed relationship with John Mayer, Jennifer Aniston wants to start a family. She reportedly considers adopting a child. "She's almost 40 now and is as passionate as ever about being a mother," a source revealed.
According to the source, Jennifer has been dreaming of being a parent for a long time. "It's not that Jen has given up ever having a child of her own or the family she craves, she is just looking at all the options open to her," the source stated, adding "there are so many children in the world desperate for a good home and Jen feels like it might be time to adopt a little boy or girl."
Many people speculated that Jennifer's decision to adopt a child is meant to follow in the footsteps of her ex-husband Brad Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie. Nevertheless, sources claimed the fact that Brad and Angelina have made adoption part of Hollywood culture has nothing to do with Jennifer's decision. "Jen wishes Brad well," the sources revealed, adding "she bares no grudges. What they do has nothing to do with her and vice versa."
