Rumor has it that teen sensation Miley Cyrus is possibly losing her voice, according to a new tabloid report. The 15-year-old singer has reportedly been diagnosed with a vocal cord nodule and the small bump, which is caused by continuous strain of her voice. And it could be the beginning of the end for her singing career, report claimed
"Miley's voice started getting really horse in late August, and she was having trouble hitting high notes that she could hit before," reported Star magazine. "Her concerned parents took her to a doctor, who diagnosed the beginning stages of the nodule. That's obviously not good news, especially since she's so young."
Further, the "7 Things" songstress has been recommended by doctors to take three weeks of vocal rest. It means that she's not allowed to sing for a few time. Miley was also suggested to take vocal lessons to learn how to "properly warm her voice."
Renee Grant-Williams, the Nashville singing voice who trained the Disney darling, said the nodule has been coming for a long time. "Even when Miley was 12, she had the speaking voice of a 30-year-old. She used to say, 'My voice sounds like a dying German Shepherd when I hit the high notes'," she explained. "All that singing, it can be dangerous if she doesn't take care of her voice."
