Proving that she had forgiven her husband Ashley Cole for cheating on her by wearing her wedding ring again, Cheryl Cole admitted she wants to have a baby with him. She even said that she has been wishing to be a mother for a long time.
"I'm really broody at the moment, but I always am," Ashley stated. The Girls Aloud's member revealed she even has been keeping old clothes from her childhood to be passed on to her children. "I used to love ballet so this means a lot to me, I'm going to keep it for when I have a little girl," she admitted.
Preparing for motherhood, Ashley said she always cares for animals. She told BBC Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley, "I'm obsessed with animals. We went to Ibiza a while back and I disappeared one day. The girls eventually found me feeding lizards with leaves and strawberries. Even on my honeymoon I was trying to coax the lizards." The singer added, "I've always been the same, my mum said it was like the RSPCA in our house when I was young - pigeons with broken wings, anything. I've never killed a spider."
Aside from her maternal wish, Ashley also confessed to Jo that she wanted to buy Newcastle United. But since it bids 400 million pound sterling, it's unlikely she could pay the cash. She even had asked the other Girls Aloud's members to pay a contribution, but they weren't interested. "I've tried that already. I'm doing everything I can think of," she said.
