Quashing rumors that she and Joe are lovers, Demi told Entertainment Weekly they are just good friends despite the fact that they are playing on-screen lovers on "Camp Rock".
Putting the brake on the long circulating rumors that she's dating

Demi Lovato told Entertainment Weekly in a recent interview that she and Joe are just friends and nothing more. "Joe and I never dated. We're really good friends," the publication quoted her as saying.
Befriending Joe and the famous
Jonas Brothers, Demi explained "I just think it's funny that people try to pin me to them. It's like, Oh, come on! I think [if I were going to], I would have dated one of them by now!" She, however, credited the threesome to have contributed to her big breakthrough in the entertainment industry, telling , "Imagine being new to Disney, and your first big job is being the romantic interest of one of the biggest heartthrobs on the channel. Any girl that is a friend of the Jonas Brothers gets hate mail and is automatically suspected as a girlfriend."
Demi and Joe are co-stars in the Disney film "Camp Rock," for which they play lovers. She and all the Jonas Brothers; Joe,
Kevin Jonas and
Nick Jonas are good friends. The music act has helped her writing 11 songs of her debut album "Don't Forget," which hit the stores September 23, 2008. She even has a duet with them on the album.
