Jonas Brothers' 'Lovebug' Inspired by 'Juno'

Teen sensations Jonas Brothers revealed that their latest single "Lovebug" is inspired by the soundtrack of movie "Juno."

While Jonas Brothers and their fans are waiting for the release of the music video for their latest single "Lovebug," the famous brothers have revealed secret about the songwriting. The siblings admitted the single is inspired by the soundtrack of movie "Juno," which is about a pregnant teenage girl.

Nick Jonas told MTV News, "the vision for the song actually came from some different inspirations." The youngest brother then added, "but 'Juno' was one of our favorite movies at the time, and the soundtrack is always kind of odd, so we decided to put those elements in the song, and it came very nicely." Besides, Nick also revealed that he and his brothers had another major songwriting influence for the single, saying "I think there are a lot of things we draw from, but that song in particular is a Beatles influence."

Furthermore, Jonas Brothers revealed that they wrote "Lovebug" while they were on the road for "Hannah Montana" tour with fellow Disney sensation Miley Cyrus. "We wrote it while on the Christmas break of the 'Hannah Montana' tour," Nick explained. "So we were in the hotel room and sat down that night and wrote it in about 15 or 20 minutes."

Aside from his brother's story about "Lovebug," Joe Jonas said the meaning of the song lyrics is open to the listener's interpretation. "It can mean anything," he stated. "But for us, it's throwing any past inhibitions to the wind." His brother Nick added about the song, "really, just falling in love with somebody. And [how] if they break your heart - or however it ends - you think, 'That's it forever,' until the 'Lovebug' gets you [again]." "Lovebug" is about puppy love and presented in acoustic. Its video clip is inspired by Nicholas Sparks adaptation movie "The Notebook." "We have a dream of what it can be," Kevin Jonas said about the video. "It's about capturing that idea. We want to make sure it's always right." The music video for the song is scheduled to be released October 15 this year.
