Inspired by fitness guru Jane Fonda, Britney Spears is said to be keen on releasing a series of workout DVDs.
Britney Spears recently showed off her newly toned figure while attending the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards last month. Now the "Womanizer" singer reportedly wants to help her fans to get in shape by releasing a series of workout DVDs.
The idea was said to be inspired by fitness guru
Jane Fonda. "Britney wants to put out a series of workout videos," a source said. "The idea was inspired by Britney's love of dance and how it helped her get back into shape. It seems Britney found her mom's old Fonda tapes, popped them into an old VCR machine and got a big kick out of watching them."
Britney doesn't confirm her DVD venture yet, but her record label Jive/Zomba has sparked the speculation. "The idea makes perfect sense, given Britney is a singer who uses dance so much in her act," a representative for the record label revealed.
The 26-year-old singer is now busy preparing to release her new album "Circus", set to be released on December 2. "Britney is telling everyone she doesn't just want to debut at number one, but she wants it to break all kinds of records for a new release," a source quoted as saying.
