Being rumored to be dating Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez finally opened up about her relationship with him. The teen sensation admitted that she and Nick are still getting to know each other.
"Nick and I are getting to know each other," Selena revealed to TV Guide. The Disney cutie also confessed that she has been really close with his family, revealing "I've gotten really close to the entire Jonas family this past year." However, she insisted, "but we're not confirming anything."
Like Nick, who wears purity ring and swears not to have sex before marriage, Selena recently also vowed to do the same thing, saying "true love waits." Nevertheless, she hasn't been guaranteeing her perfection. "I'm going to do the best that I can do, but I am 16 and I am going to make mistakes - no one's perfect," she admitted.
Back in September 2008, Selena and Nick, who were rumored to be dating, were reported having dinner together. A few days later, the actress-singer was spotted making a front row appearance on the result show of hit reality TV series "Dancing with the Stars," where Nick and her brothers; Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas; gave a singing performance.
Previously, Selena has acknowledged that she is not definitely against having rock star boyfriends. "No, I'm not. I'm going to say that - no I'm not," she said when being asked whether she hates rock star boyfriends. She furthermore revealed that she loves to date the shy and creative type.
