Inside Ashlee Simpson's 24th Birthday Bash

Turning 24, Ashlee Simpson reportedly threw a birthday party that had a "white-trash" theme. The wife of Fall Out Boy's bassist Pete Wentz celebrated her 24th birthday at her parent's home in Encino on Friday, October 3, according to People magazine.

The costume party was attended by her hubby, father Joe and sister Jessica Simpson. Other celebrities who also attended the birthday bash were Christina Aguilera, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. Ashlee treated her guests with food including corn dogs, macaroni and cheese, chicken fingers and French fries.

"Ashlee wore Daisy Dukes and platform flip-flops with a bathing suit and a fake tattoo around her belly," said a guest who attended the party. "Joe wore a cut-off muscle T-shirt and a mullet wig. It was funny. Jessica was wearing a crazy leopard-print dress that showed off a lot of cleavage."

And it seems that the "Boyfriend" singer really loves themed parties. When Ashlee celebrated her birthday last year, guests wore prom dresses, vintage tuxedos and fingerless gloves while attending her '80s-themed bash. "Ashlee loves themed parties and costumes," a friend revealed.
