Queen Latifah apparently was upset when being asked about her sex life. The rapper-actress stated she won't care much about people's speculation that she is a lesbian. "I don't have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life," she told The New York Times magazine.
Latifah felt that she doesn't need to share her personal life with other people, saying "I don't feel like I need to share my personal life, and I don't care if people think I'm gay or not... You don't get that part of me. Sorry. We're not discussing it in our meetings, we're not discussing it at Cover Girl... nobody gets that." She continued saying to , "Assume whatever you want. You do it anyway."
Of her personal life, Latifah has been romantically linked to her longtime personal trainer Jeannette Jenkins and even rumored to be planning to marry her. However, she denied it, telling Chicago Sun-Times, "People will make up all sorts of things that are not true. There ain't gonna' be no wedding."
In recent news, Latifah admitted she is ready to be a mother and wants to adopt an American child. She also explained she understands why many people go outside the U.S. just to adopt children, stating "You can adopt someone here, and the birth parents have three years to come back and get that child. That's terrifying. But [American children] can use just as much assistance as someone from around the world. I want to do something here."
