Burlesque star Dita Von Teese confessed her shyness often makes her difficult to talk to men she likes.
Dita Von Teese has revealed that attractive men often make her speechless. The 36-year-old beauty said she finds difficult to talk to men whom she likes because she feels shy. "I don't claim to be a good judge of character in relationships," she said.
When Dita is attracted to someone, she's also scared of rejection. "I get so nervous when I'm attracted to someone that I can't talk. I'm so scared of rejection - I'm not good around boys," said the burlesque star, who divorced her rocker hubby
Marilyn Manson last year.
The model also confessed she was really shy and didn't like to speak at school. Her teacher even thought Dita was mute because she used to be very quiet. "I was really, really shy. Like painfully shy," she said.
"People thought there was something wrong with me because I couldn't speak. I didn't like to speak in class at school," Dita explained. "I was really shy and they were always sending me to these speech classes to try to figure out where my voice was but I just didn't want to talk."
