Vanessa Hudgens Attacked By Deranged Fan

Vanessa Hudgens denied reports that Zac Efron got attacked by a deranged fan while leaving Apollo theater in London on October 8, confirming it was her who got attacked not Zac.

Last week it was reported that Zac Efron got attacked by a man, who was thought to be a deranged fan, while he was leaving the Apollo theater in London with his co-star girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens. But, it appears that the press had the false story as Vanessa admitted the one who had been attacked on that day was her not Zac.

"I actually got hit in the face!" Vanessa told Access Hollywood. "If anything, I was the one who got attacked, not Zac." The actress revealed that she and Zac were leaving the theater when a man stopped in front of the couple's car, blocking the door.

"There was a guy who was walking down the street and I think he was a little drunk and he got pushed into the craziness of it all," Vanessa explained, adding "He was blocking the door so our bodyguard had to push him aside." The Disney beauty said she realized that she had been attacked when she sat down inside the car, saying "I looked in the mirror and got a huge scratch and I was bleeding."

Meanwhile, Zac confessed that at that time he just focused on getting into the car that he didn't realize the commotion. "I just heard about it. I was just focused on [the] van door - I've gotta get to it. I got in the van and we drove away... I don't remember getting harassed," he told Access Hollywood.

Previously, reports revealed that Zac was the one who was attacked by the deranged fan on October 8, 2008 when he was leaving West End theater Apollo at Shaftesbury Avenue with Vanessa. "Some guy was just stood near the door... He just reached over and grabbed the side of Zac's head," an onlooker told Mail Online.

"He was shouting all kinds of things at Zac. Their security team eventually dealt with it. They had to bundle Zac into a car, but at one point it looked as though the man was going to be pushed into it with him," the onlooker went on saying. It was claimed at that time Zac was unhurt and the attack was not reported to police.
