Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo Not Engaged

Following rumors that said she and her beau Tony Romo previously went ring shopping in Neiman Marcus, Jessica Simpson denied she and the Dallas Cowboys' quarterback are engaged. The singing sensation told Entertainment Tonight that she and Tony even didn't go to the jewelry store.

"Tony and I have not gone to Neiman Marcus - somebody said we bought a ring there," Jessica told the gossip website. She added that she couldn't drag the American football ace to the store even if she tried. She, however, stated, "We are doing great. I'm wearing my No. 9 jersey proud."

Previously, Jessica called Tony as a "great guy" because he makes her life as happy as she always wants. "I'm blessed to be with him," she went on saying.

Back in late September 2008, Jessica and Tony sparked engagement rumors after having been reported to go to Neiman Marcus, doing some ring shopping. According to Chicago Sun-Times columnist Bill Zwecker, they were hunting for "big sparklers - the kind women wear on their left-hand ring finger," and talking about a winter wedding.

Jessica and Tony have been together since November 2007. Despite reports that said they split, it's been claimed they have moved in together.
