DJ Samantha Ronson has reportedly popped the question to her girlfriend Lindsay Lohan during their holiday in Mexico two weeks ago.
Recent rumors claimed that the relationship between
Lindsay Lohan and
Samantha Ronson is on the rock. But another report said that the DJ is apparently ready to take their relationship to the next level. She's said to have proposed to her actress girlfriend while the two were enjoying holiday in Mexico.
According to Britain's Star magazine, Samantha surprised Lindsay with a wedding proposal during their break in Mexico two weeks ago. Enjoying dinner under the moonlight, the 22-year-old actress reportedly was thrilled when her lesbian lover suggested a civil partnership and presented her with a $100,000 Cartier diamond band.
"Sam brought Lindsay down at 9pm to a huge dining table laid out by the water's edge," a source at the Esperanza Hotel told Star. "Sam really went all out and even arranged for a group of Mexican singers to entertain them with songs."
The source then revealed that the "
Just My Luck" starlet accepted Sam's proposal. "It was a gorgeous ring with a big diamond that Sam had bought before the holiday," said the source. "Sam asked her if she would marry her and the waiter popped a champagne cork as Lindsay accepted. It was such a beautiful setting with perfect weather and was really romantic."
