After being rumored to split from her husband Deryck Whibley, Avril Lavigne insisted she and Deryck are still fine and happy.

Avril Lavigne denied she will split from husband Deryck Whibley. She told In Touch Weekly that she and Deryck are still fine and happy.
"We're best friends. We have so much in common and get along all of the time. He makes me happy," Avril told the magazine, adding that she and Deryck "have fun together." Besides, friends of the pair stated that the Sum 41 frontman joined the beautiful singer on tour for two months. "While she was on tour, Deryck joined her for two months. He performed on stage with her every night and they sang her hit song 'In Too Deep' for an encore together," the friends revealed.
According to report, Avril and Deryck haven't left their home in Hollywood since they returned from Asia. "They're hanging out together and having fun," a source stated, adding "they're also recording songs in their home studio."
Having the same tone with Avril, Deryck's management firm, Nettwerk Music Group, also denied the split rumors by posting a message on Sum 41's MySpace page under the title "Totally False Gossip," which was posted on Tuesday, October 14. "For the record we strongly deny the inference of martial problems between Avril and Deryck. We also strongly deny the National Enquirer claims of any other liaisons. Deryck has in fact been traveling through Asia performing with Avril as evidenced by the numerous YouTube videos," the management firm wrote on the post.
Besides, the management firm also revealed on that the media had surprised Deryck by reporting the false rumor. "I'm actually very surprised that so many media outlets picked this story up. Since when did the National Enquirer become a trust worthy news source?" the management firm quoted him as saying.
On Monday, October 13, Avril and Deryck were spotted going out together enjoying romantic dinner. Afterwards, they were seen holding each other's hand.
