Melody Thornton of The Pussycat Dolls has confessed she wanted to be dressed in religious robes when she was growing up.

The Pussycat Dolls has been known for their sexy outfits as well as raunchy performances. And now one of the Dolls has confessed she wanted to be dressed in religious robes.
Melody Thornton has revealed that she wanted to be a nun when she was growing up. When her band-mate Ashley Roberts suggested she could still be one, Melody said that she can't. "I can't actually. I've done too many things," said the 24-year-old singer.
"I used to watch these movies about people who really devote their lives to charity in someway or bettering the world, devoting themselves to serve God or a common purpose," Melody added. "When I realised I could sing I realised I could do both, like
Angelina Jolie."
In related news, Melody and her band-mates will perform at the 36th Annual American Music Awards on November 23. PCD will join other big names, including
Rihanna,
Ne-Yo,
Jonas Brothers and
Pink, who are also slated to perform at the event.
