Zac Efron 'Going to Lay Low' for His 21st Birthday

While attending the premiere of "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" in Los Angeles on October 16, Zac Efron revealed that he is going to lay low to celebrate his 21st birthday.

Zac Efron will turn 21 years old on Saturday, October 18, and he plans to celebrate his special day with a low-key party. "I'm sure I'll have fun, but we're not going to go big," he told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of his latest Disney movie "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" on Thursday, October 16 at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California.

"I'm not going Vegas or anything like that. I'm going to lay low," Zac, who was also joined by his co-star and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, revealed. Meanwhile, when Vanessa was asked about the present she has prepared for his 21st birthday, she simply replied, "It's a surprise, but a good one!"

Having the same tone with Zac, his co-star in forthcoming movie "Seventeen Again and close friend, Thomas Lewis, stated that the Disney hottie is planning a private dinner to celebrate his birthday. "I can't really say much. But it's going to be just a really close dinner with close friends and family at a pretty cool place that I've never been to," Thomas said.

Zac, Vanessa and Thomas were not the only stars who were attending the premiere of "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" in Los Angeles. Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu and the rest of the movie cast also joined to the bash.

In other Zac news, he recently denied rumor that said he will go naked on Broadway play "Equus," replacing Daniel Radcliffe as Alan Strang. "No, that's a rumor. I wasn't approached for it," he revealed.
