Everything, sometimes, couldn't exactly go according to plan. This case also happened to Katy Perry. The singer had an embarrassing moment at MTV's Latin America Awards in Guadalajara, Mexico.
While preforming at the awards show on Thursday, October 16, the "I Kissed a Girl" singer decided to dive into a giant cake. However, it's not well done. Katy slipped and fell on her ass just moments later.
The 23-year-old singer reportedly attempted to grab hold of one of her band mates on her way down. But Katy failed to do it. She then crashed to earth in breathtaking fashion with her band mates watched on.
Katy will also serve as host at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool on November 6. "To follow in the footsteps of previous hosts Christina Aguilera, Tom Jones, P. Diddy and Snoop Dogg at this prestigious event is an incredible honour - do they know what they are getting into?," she said. "I just hope that I don't spill my cocktail!"
