Zac Efron Celebrates His 21st Birthday

Celebrating his 21st birthday, Zac Efron threw an intimate party with a group of friends and family at Pace restaurant in L.A. on Saturday, October 18.

While fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus celebrated her sweet sixteen with a big party at Disneyland, Zac Efron wanted a low-key celebration for his 21st birthday. The "Hairspray" star celebrated his special day with an intimate two-hour dinner party on Saturday, October 18, according to People magazine.

Zac threw his birthday bash at Pace restaurant in Los Angeles with a group of friends and family attended. Joining the actor were his parents and brother, girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, "High School Musical" costars Monique Coleman and Ashley Tisdale, who was accompanied by her beau Jared Murillo, and pals Michelle Trachtenberg, Amanda Bynes, Brittany Snow and singing sisters Aly & AJ.

Sporting a T-shirt and jacket, the birthday boy looked casual at his birthday party. His girlfriend Vanessa, meanwhile, was seen wearing a colorful mini-dress. According to People, guests arrived at the party with wrapped gifts, including bottles of liquor for Zac because he can now legally drink alcohol.

Just before midnight, Zac and Vanessa were spotted leaving the Italian restaurant hand-in-hand. The 21-year-old actor reportedly continued his 21st birthday celebration at a nearby hotel, where he hosted an after-party with some of his dinner guests.
