Teen sensations Jonas Borthers will perform for the first time at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on March 9, 2009.
Preparing for their scheduled live performances on the upcoming Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day game,
Jonas Brothers are set to perform for the first time at the 2009 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo which will be held beginning from March 3 until 22 next year.
Joe Jonas,
Kevin Jonas and
Nick Jonas will perform at the RodeoHouston on March 9, 2009.
"This is just the beginning of an exciting year of superstars at RodeoHouston," Skip Wagner, president of the show, stated when being asked about Jonas Brothers' upcoming performance. "I think we've found a real good partnership with the Disney acts, beginning with
Hilary Duff, then
Miley Cyrus and now the Jonas Brothers," Leroy Shafer, the rodeo's chief operating officer, added.
According to report,
Taylor Swift, who recently has split from Joe of the pop-rock band, also will make her debut performance at the RodeoHouston. She will take part on the show on March 20, 2009.
Jonas Brothers and Taylor are not the only superstars who will perform at the RodeoHouston.
Rascal Flatts and
Brad Paisley are also set to perform on the show. Rascal will perform on March 3, 2009, while Brad will give his performance on March 12, 2009.
Previously, it has been announced that Jonas Brothers will perform live in a halftime show at the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day game which will be aired on November 27, 2008. "There are no other artists more in touch with America's youth than Jonas Brothers," Dallas Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones stated explaining the reason why the siblings are invited to perform at the game.
