Gillian Anderson is mom to a son again. "The X-Files" star and her boyfriend have welcomed a baby boy named Felix Griffiths, the actress' representative, Kelly Bush, told People magazine exclusively. For 40-year-old actress, Felix, who was born on October 15 in London and weighed in at 6 pounds, 15 ounces, is her second son with her longterm boyfriend, Mark Griffiths.
Before giving birth to this son, the actress previously announced to People about her pregnancy, while the news about the sex of the baby was updated by Entertainment Tonight in July. Prior to welcoming Felix, Anderson has another son, a 19-month-old Oscar, who is going to turn 2-year-old on November 6. Beside the one-year-old, Gillian also has a 13-year-old daughter named Piper Maru from her previous marriage.
Having starred as FBI agent Dana Scully once again in "The X-Files: I Want to Believe", Anderson will next be seen starring in upcoming drama movie entitled "The Smell of Apples". The latter movie is directed by Kfir Yefet and is planned to be released in 2009. Anderson's performance as Scully in the original "The X-Files" series has brought her recognitions, earning her an Emmy and Golden Globe Award for category Best Actress in a Drama TV Series.
