Billie Piper has given birth to a baby boy on Tuesday, October 21 at private Portland Hospital in London. According to her husband Laurence Fox, she gave birth to his son, named Winston James Fox, via emergency Caesarean section at 1 A.M. after a 26-hour labor.
"He is beautiful, he is sweet," Laurence told the press outside the hospital when referring to his newborn baby. "The emergency Caesarean only took about 20 minutes," he went on saying.
Laurence revealed that "Billie is happy," telling the press he feels he is "a proud father." Besides, he admitted he was tired during the birth, adding "but not as tired as her. Mum is doing really well, no complications. Healthy, brilliant." Being asked about the baby boy, the actor explained that Winston weighed 6lb. 11oz.
Meanwhile, Billie's ex-husband, music DJ Chris Evans, was spotted visiting the 26-year-old actress at the hospital. Having the same tone with Laurence, he stated, "Mum is very happy and I am really pleased. There are some tears of joy up there."
Billie and Laurence met on the set of stage production "Treats" in 2006. The couple then married on New Year's eve, December 31, 2007.
