Zac Efron: 'I Shower Twice a Day'
"High School Musical" heartthrob Zac Efron has dismissed reports that claim he doesn't shower. The 21-year-old hunk insisted that he washes himself everyday, adding he sometimes does it twice a day.

Zac was recently accused of refusing to wash and allegedly have relied on wet wipes when he got too smelly. But the "Hairspray" star has hit back the claims, telling Moviefone.com, "I assure you I showered this morning - minutes before I got here." "And I do it every day. Sometimes twice," he added. "So, that's kind of funny. But my dad was kind of like razzing me for it. I can't help but laugh!"

Earlier, his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens has also hit out at the rumors claiming the actor doesn't wash. The 19-year-old actress told Newsweek that her beau always showers, saying "He showers! He showers! Believe me, he does. Whoever came up with that is completely idiotic." When Vanessa was asked does Zac shower every day, she replied, "Yes! Of course. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!"

Star magazine previously reported that Zac isn't a fan of personal hygiene. A "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" set insider reportedly revealed that the actor "isn't a big fan of showering", according to Star. He's even said to go days without showering. The insider said, "It's so gross, because Zac loves to work out and plays basketball all the time - and then goes days without showering. When he gets lazy, he likes to clean himself with baby wipes!"
