Former lovers Mandy Moore and DJ AM may rekindle their romance. The 24-year-old actress and her ex-boyfriend have reportedly reunited after the plane crash that almost killed the DJ, according to Us Weekly.
"It's back on. Since the accident, it's blossomed into something again," a source close to DJ AM told the magazine in its newest issue, on stands now. "Mandy said, 'I like this guy a lot and I want to see where it can go again. Life is too short to not be with someone you really care about," added the source.
Mandy and DJ AM were spotted at the Friendly House event in Beverly Hills last weekend. The two were said to haven't been shy about PDA as a witness told Us Weekly that they're "rubbing each other's backs". The witness revealed, "He was holding her hand, and they were rubbing each other's backs."
The "Chasing Liberty" star has split from rocker Ryan Adams and previously dated Zach Braff and Andy Roddick. The 35-year-old DJ, meanwhile, was once engaged to Nicole Richie. But a second DJ AM source told the magazine, "When you go through what Adam went through, you need people you love and people who love you. He will never stop loving her."
