Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump of
Fall Out Boy will try to break a Guinness World Record. On Friday, October 24, the multi-platinum Island Records band announced their plan on attempting to break the record of most radio interviews by a pair completed in 24 hours by a pair of two.
Dedicated to the challenge, they will take on interviews with as many as radio stations across the fifty states. Their first interview will be done at Premiere Studios, Los Angeles at 3:00 A.M. PST on October 31. The pair is aiming to overcome the current world record of 57 radio stations in 24 hours, which has been completed in May 2008.
The news of this attempt to break record comes in as the band is gearing up for the U.S. release of their forthcoming album, "Folie A Deux". Featuring the single "I Don't Care", the LP is expected to be released by Island Records on December 16.
