Beyonce Knowles Warns Solange Knowles Not to Be a Star

Wanting to protect Solange Knowles from having a lot of pressure in music industry, Beyonce Knowles has warned her little sister not to be a star.

Acting fiercely protective of Solange Knowles, Beyonce knowles admitted she tried to convince her little sister to give up becoming a star. She told InStyle magazine she doesn't want her beloved sibling to face a lot of pressure. "I didn't want her to go into the entertainment business. This industry involves a lot of pressure," she revealed when being asked about her sister.

Despite Beyonce's advice, Solange is definitely pursuing her own singing career. That is why the older sister stated she is forced to always watch and give her big attention concerning her career so that she won't get much pressure. "I am so lucky to have her. We talk on the phone all night. I've been at all of her video shoots, even the ones that take 28 hours," the senior singer went on telling the magazine.

In recent news, Beyonce admitted she wanted her first lead role in big screen movie to be a comic book crime fighter, saying "I want to play a superhero." About the "superhero" character, she explained, "The power to disappear and just watch people. The older I get, I can see almost what people are going to do. It's not like I'm psychic, I just have a good read on people. It's really what I do. I walk into a room and see everything."

In related news, Beyonce recently told the press that she loves becoming a New Yorker, admitting, "I am (a New Yorker) now." She confessed people "weren't friendly" when she came to the city for the first time. "Now I love it. I enjoy access to foods I never had before, like Cuban or Indian. I love how multicultural it is; ... That's beautiful," she went on saying.
