Katy Perry Poses with Spoon to Deny Claim She Promotes Knife Crime

In response to the criticism that said she is promoting knife crime by posing with a blade to her face, Katy Perry has posted her new photograph that shows her holding a spoon.

After being criticized "out of mind" when her picture, which showed her holding blade to her face, emerged on The Sun, Katy Perry recently has posed with a spoon in response to the criticism. Showing off her picture with the spoon is her effort to deny public assumption that she is promoting knife crime.

Previously, The Sun has published Katy's picture with blade on its front page just hours after 16-year-old army cadet, named Joseph Lappin, fatally stabbed in Liverpool. That was why the picture enraged anti-knife campaigners in Britain. "This woman's behavior is unacceptable," Richard Taylor, one of the people who has joined the anti-knife campaign, told The Sun. "She must be out of her mind to pose for a picture like this... Any youngsters seeing her will think it is OK to carry a blade."

Responding to the criticism, Katy has published a new photograph of her that shows her holding a spoon to her face. Besides, she recently also posted message on her blog, revealing her anger to The Sun which had published her photograph with the blade. "Dear Sun: You deserve a time out. Your 'journalistic' approach has half the soul of the National Enquirer. Shame on you," she wrote on he post.
