Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan to Star in New Sitcom?

Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan may star in a sitcom together, according to reports. The one-time close friends are rumored to be in talks to star in HBO's new sitcom. The U.S. TV network reportedly want to sign up them "to appear as flatmates struggling to make it big in Hollywood".

"The chemistry between them will be electric," a source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper. "They were very close and have had their ups and downs in the Los Angeles party world but they have overcome those problems now."

Their experiences are expected to help them playing their characters in the sitcom, which is described as a cross between "Friends" and "Ugly Betty". "They can draw from their experiences for the sitcom," explained the source.

Ricky Gervais is said to have been asked to write the script. And the trio reportedly will be playing characters inspired by themselves. A source revealed that Paris would play a fashion designer, Britney would portray an aspiring singer and Lindsay would be "a little like a female Joey from 'Friends', who is obsessed with men and food."
