Julia Roberts has celebrated her 41st birthday by holding a secret party for family and close friends to attend on Monday night, October 27 in San Francisco. The Hollywood beauty, whose actual birthday was on October 28, hosted a star-studded dinner at celeb chef Traci Des Jardins' Jardiniere restaurant.
During the bash, Julia was joined by her husband Danny Moder and pals Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Bruce Willis, Jack Nicholson, Sean Penn, Robin Wright Penn and Billy Crystal. A source told US Weekly that the group of superstars sang a "happy birthday" song for Julia and Rita, who turned 52 on October 26.
On the same day, Julia also showed up at the San Francisco's Davies Symphony Hall to honor and raise funds for the late Paul Newman's charity, The Painted Turtle, which helps children with life threatening illness. During the event, she was spotted dyeing part of her hair with pink color. "Well, [my twin daughter] Hazel said, 'Mommy, I wish you had pink hair,' and I said, 'Well, I don't know if all of it would look nice,' so I just did a little patch," she told Access Hollywood about her hair.
Aside from her new hair color, Julia also talked about her son Henry, who was born in July 2007, saying, "He's perfect, he was here for rehearsal today and had so much fun. He's gorgeous, not that I want anyone taking his picture, but he's gorgeous."
